An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a Supply Chain Team of a global business as an Inventory Analyst. You will be responsible for producing and updating a variety of reports and dashboards. This role would suit someone who loves inventory management, figures, reports, and Excel, and who wants to apply these skills in a global business environment. Availability is critical to the business's customer support, and you will be responsible for collating and delivering management information detailing the performance of their Global Distribution Centres in line with targets.

The role involves multiple work-streams, primarily operating in Syncron, SAP, and Excel. The ability to learn quickly is vital; previous system experience is preferable. Some experience with stock or warehouse inventory systems is required. This is a desk-based role, not warehouse-based. You will work alongside the Purchasing and Inventory Assistant and support the wider Supply Chain Management Team with ad hoc requests.

Your Responsibilities as an Inventory Analyst:

  • Deliver complex analysis either with support or autonomously
  • Produce all report requirements on schedule
  • Update existing reports with any changes
  • Utilise SAP, Syncron, and JDS to extract data
  • Execute forecast and inventory processes within Syncron
  • Use the Business Warehouse to extract and summarise data
  • Manage supplier moves from the WPC to the EDC as per plan
  • Handle bespoke requests promptly
  • Review and implement warehouse changes to support availability, identifying opportunities and risks

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
