Role: Senior Data Clerk - Commercial (NEC Construction / Infrastructure)
Rate: £350-450 per day
Client: Major Defence organisation
Location: Hybrid working and in Surrey
Length: 6-12 month contract

An exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-driven Senior Data Clerk to join a leading Defence organisation, in support of business-critical, infrastructure projects, under the NEC form of contract.

You will play a key role in supporting Quantity Surveyors and the Commercial Team, ensuring that project and contract data is captured, validated, and reported accurately.

This role will suit someone with a strong eye for detail, excellent data handling skills, and a good understanding of construction project processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support Quantity Surveyors and the Commercial Team by capturing, validating, and reporting project and contract data accurately.

Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience in a Data Clerk / Project Admin / Project Controls Support role within construction or infrastructure.
  • Experience working closely with Quantity Surveyors, Procurement, or Commercial.
  • Ideally, prior experience within Defence.
  • Working knowledge of NEC contract processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, experience with project data systems such as CEMAR highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data.
