An Interim Procurement Specialist to drive end-to-end Procurement Delivery for one of the most significant energy redevelopment projects in the Middle East. This leading Energy organisation is building a world-class procurement capability to support a major oil and gas redevelopment in the Middle East. This is a rare opportunity to play a hands-on role in delivering high-impact procurement across HSE, Security, Logistics, IT, Facilities, Business Support and Contingent Labour.
You will join a centralised support team, working closely with in-country partners and international stakeholders as a trusted Procurement Business Partner for Business Support and HSE functions.
Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end procurement delivery across Business Support and H&S categories in a complex, high-value operating environment
- Develop and execute category strategies that balance value, risk, compliance and security
- Partner closely with Category teams to deliver seamless outcomes
- Support sourcing, contracting, negotiations, governance approvals and post-award contract management
- Manage supplier performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure full compliance with local laws, contracting procedures, and global ethical standards
- Act as a key interface with joint-venture partners and suppliers, building strong, trust-based relationships
- Embed a strong compliance and safety culture in everything you do
- 5+ years' Procurement experience and strong Oil & Gas industry experience
- Strong experience in Indirect procurement categories, particularly related to HSE and Security
- Proven commercial acumen with confidence negotiating complex, high-value contracts
- Ability to operate across cultures, geographies and multiple stakeholders
- Experience supporting international projects or joint ventures is a plus
