An Interim Procurement Manager to join an esteemed government organisation and take the lead on full-lifecycle, Fleet Procurement projects. Responsibility will be for full tenders to direct awards across Fleet BAU, Fleet Maintenance and Fleet Operations.
This role will lead a Team of 3 direct reports and work to establish robust relationships with senior stakeholders. You will develop Procurement Strategy and Category planning, draft papers and single source, determine route to market, attend and lead team meetings, and create tender packs.
Requirements:
- Public Sector Procurement in a large organisation.
- Prior ownership and responsibility for various sizes of projects with e.g. £100k value, competition or single sources.
- Prior, strong experience in leading full-lifecycle, Fleet Procurement projects.
- Good Leadership ability.
- Advantageous would be experience with SAP, and any other Procurement tools.
