Client: Major Science Organisation
Location: Site-based in Bracknell
Duration: 6 months (Strong scope to extend)
A HSE Lead to support on-site, multi-year, major construction and CAPEX works taking place on-site for a new bioscience lab, with a Global, Science Leader.
This role will provide key HSE advice and support for new equipment and processes scientists are proposing, liaise with the principal contractor and carry out supplier management.
This role will take ownership of HSE and will have full autonomy on how the the project runs.
Required:
- Ideally, 5 years\’ + experience in a Health, Safety, and Environmental management.
- NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Ability to manager contractors to ensure delivery to a high standard.
- Excellent communication and engagement ability to a senior level, both internally and externally.
- Understanding of UK HSE regulatory requirements for Construction.
- Construction background – any lab construction experience would be beneficial.
