An exciting interim opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee operations across two secure sites within a high‑profile public sector environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in facilities, estates or property operations management who thrives in fast‑paced, operationally critical environments.

The Role

You’ll take responsibility for the safe, effective and compliant management of property operations, ensuring facilities, maintenance and site services are delivered to a consistently high standard. Working across multiple sites, you’ll monitor operational performance, manage compliance and safety activities, and coordinate remedial actions where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day‑to‑day property and facilities operations across two sites
  • Overseeing maintenance, compliance and security‑related activity
  • Monitoring performance against safety, quality, cost and programme targets
  • Identifying operational risks and implementing corrective actions
  • Managing technical specifications and safety documentation from review through to implementation
  • Supporting contractors and service delivery partners to ensure operational standards are met
  • Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times

Requirements

  • Strong experience in facilities, estates or property operations management
  • Background managing operational services within complex or regulated environments
  • Knowledge of compliance, health & safety and maintenance operations
  • Experience monitoring supplier or contractor performance
  • Strong stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations
