Location: Hybrid - one week in the office and three weeks remote
Rate: Circa Β£350-400 per day, subject to engagement basis
Contract: ASAP start through to December 2027
We're looking for an experienced Inbound Logistics Advisor to support international supply chain operations, with a focus on logistics and customs processes in West Africa.
You'll work with suppliers, business stakeholders, international and local logistics providers, and customs agents to improve delivery performance and develop effective inbound logistics strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound logistics across suppliers, logistics providers and customs agents.
- Manage contractor service delivery and performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery reliability and supply chain efficiency.
- Assess logistics safety risks and support appropriate mitigation measures.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, external suppliers and local authorities.
What you'll bring
- At least five years' experience in international logistics, including customs processes in West Africa.
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related technical field.
- Proven experience managing contractors and customs agents.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills across teams and geographies.
- Working knowledge of SAP and relevant software tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel to West Africa as required.
