I am currently recruiting a Senior Production Planner to play a pivotal role within a fast-paced FMCG environment, responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising production plans that ensure seamless coordination between sales, marketing, supply chain, and production teams.

This position demands a blend of proactive and analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities to align manufacturing resources and materials with fluctuating customer demand and evolving business objectives.
- Develop detailed weekly production plans across several production lines for an FMCG factory operating approximately sixteen production lines and employing around sixty staff.
Plans must be adaptable, allowing flexibility from week to week in response to operational changes and business needs.
- Continually review and analyse customer firm orders and forecasts, ensuring that the business is positioned to supply demand efficiently and react to changes in market requirements.
- Work in close partnership with the Sales Team to guarantee timely and accurate forecast input into the system for the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process.
- Collaborate with the material scheduler to confirm all raw materials and packaging requirements are available to meet planned production demands, reducing the risk of shortages and production downtime.
Experience required
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures, including manufacturing planning, demand management, and stock replenishment.
