We are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to provide planning, scheduling, and Earned Value Management (EVM) expertise across a portfolio of complex projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to support large-scale programmes within a highly regulated environment, working closely with project controls, business management, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide planning expertise to project teams and internal stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain, and analyse integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Deliver accurate schedule forecasting and performance reporting to support informed business decision-making.
- Produce planning and Earned Value (EV) deliverables in line with agreed reporting cycles.
- Conduct schedule performance analysis, including SPI and EV variance reporting.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of planning processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Contribute to long-range integrated programme planning activities.
- Review and support the development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing improvement of planning tools, templates, and training materials.
- Support peer reviews and provide planning expertise across multiple projects as required.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders.
- Promote high standards of safety, quality, security, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating at Senior Planner level.
- Advanced Primavera P6 planning and scheduling expertise.
- Strong Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge and practical application.
- Experience producing and maintaining complex project schedules.
- Supply chain integration experience.
- Understanding of contract management and project controls.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ideally, strong construction planning background.
- Experience working within highly regulated or complex programme environments.
