A Public Sector Procurement Manager opportunity, sitting with a leading international Construction and Property Consultancy, renowned for delivering commercial, procurement and project management expertise across complex and varied projects.
This is an opportunity to work with a major Roads client, helping shape Indirect procurement strategies that deliver long-term value for nationally important projects.
Working within a collaborative consultancy environment, you'll advise clients throughout the procurement lifecycle, from early market engagement and commercial strategy through to contract award, while developing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to complex end-to-end procurement exercises across major Indirect Services projects, which may include Estates, Depots, Occupational Health, and EV Charging Infrastructure
- Leading varying scales of procurement project from strategy to contract award
- Draft procurement documentation and evaluate supplier submissions.
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, programme and budget objectives are achieved.
- Contribute to business development activities, client relationship management and winning new work.
- Up-to-Date and current regulated Public Sector Procurement experience, including PA2023 and PCR2015.
- MCIPS, MRICS or equivalent professional qualification.
- Confident delivering any scale of Public Sector Procurement project within Indirects.
- Strong understanding of UK Public Procurement regulations and governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing consultancy skills.
- Able to work autonomously with limited supervision.
- Strong commercial awareness, analytical capability and problem-solving ability.
