I am currently recruiting a Demand Planning Manager for a highly successful business within the retail, wholesale and distribution. This is an exciting time to be joining a growing business. They are looking for someone who has solid replenishment experience and ideally experience of managing a team or person.
- Manage the demand planning team to maximise availability on all products in commodity groups with varied seasonally driven sales.
- Communicate opportunities and risks to the wider business.
- Support the end-to-end stock availability, ensuring risks are mitigated.
- Action and ensure that daily huddles are completed with the purpose to inform, share, understand and challenge to ensure delivery of the group wide demand planning strategy.
- Consistently work with Power BI data sources, using these reports to analyse and provide rich data to the wider business.
- Ensure that the team investigates high stock levels and wastage working towards resolution.
- Make sure supply chain end to end stock availability is achieved.
- Lead the demand planning team to build strong trading and supplier relationships to maximise and deliver the annual KPI Targets.
- Lead the team to work to stock holding targets at commodity group level, whilst taking responsibility for managing and analysing stock to ensure high inventory levels.
