Estimator – Reactive Building Maintenance

About Us

We are a reactive building maintenance specialist supporting nationwide commercial clients. With a rapidly expanding workload, we are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Estimator to join our team. You\’ll work from home or our Littleborough office, depending on business needs and your location.

The Role

You will produce accurate, timely, and competitive estimates for reactive works and direct client requests, while also supporting the wider team with small works documentation, including risk assessments and safety detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce estimates and quotes based on reactive works or direct client requests

• Support the preparation of small works risk assessments and safety documentation

• Analyse engineer reports, photos, and client instructions

• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain material and labour prices

• Work within client SLAs and company pricing structures

• Support operations with job queries and variations

• Maintain pricing data and job records

• Communicate clearly with clients regarding quotes and clarifications

What We\’re Looking For

• Experience estimating in reactive maintenance, construction, FM, or similar

• Strong understanding of building trades and commercial maintenance

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Confident communicator with a customer-first mindset

• Good IT skills (Excel, job management systems, CRM tools)

Salary & Benefits

• £40,000+ depending on experience and skill set

• Vehicle or car allowance for occasional site visits or client meetings

• Hybrid working: Littleborough office + home working (location-dependent)
