1st Choice is seeking a Temporary Office Assistant to support our client’s Center for Orientation, Retention, and Exploration. This role provides front desk coverage and administrative support to the Dean of Students staff, helping ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Temporary Role
This is a temporary assignment. The selected candidate will be employed by 1st Choice and assigned to work at our client site for the duration of the project.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Dean of Students staff.
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and handling customer inquiries.
- Provide consistent front desk coverage.
- Process maintenance requests and assist with office supply orders.
- Book and manage student appointments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Working knowledge of effective oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of customer service and problem-resolution practices.
- Basic knowledge of desktop publishing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to produce professional documents.
