Job Type: Permanent, Full-time, 39 hours per week

Hours: Mon: 7.30am-4pm, Tues: 7.30am-4.30pm, Weds/Thurs: 7.30am-5pm, Friday: 7.30am-12pm

About the Role:

As a Multi-Skilled Welder/Fabrication Engineer, you will work with stainless steel materials (1.0mm – 12mm thickness) using Tig and Synergic Mig welding processes. This role involves:

  • Fabrication of components using engineering drawings.
  • Working with tolerances, bend allowances, and sheet-metal machinery.
  • Pipework and purge welding.
  • Operating in the production area or on-site with clients, ensuring high standards in Health & Safety, production, and inspection.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds qualifications in Welding and Fabrication or an apprenticeship in a recognised engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques, especially with stainless steel.
  • Experience in interpreting engineering drawings and operating sheet-metal machinery.
  • The ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and discipline in all tasks.
