Are you ready to take on a dynamic and rewarding role in a thriving warehouse environment? Our client, a leading manufacturing business, is looking for skilled Warehouse Operatives to join their team in Shefford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively to pick and dispatch orders to customers to a high-quality standard.
- Check incoming components for quantity and integrity, storing them in the correct locations.
- Support operations across multiple sites, including Bedford and other offsite storage locations.
- Perform a variety of warehouse tasks both indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather conditions (suitable clothing and PPE provided).
- Ensure all activities comply with Health & Safety regulations and company standards.
- Operate safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Take on additional duties and provide support to your team as needed.
Requirements:
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck and Reach Truck license (essential).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Physical fitness with strong manual handling skills.
- A team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and adaptability.
- Basic IT and communication skills, with good attention to detail and numeracy.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required and to support operations at multiple locations.
- A full valid driving license.
