Working Hours: Shift-based rota

  • Morning Shift: 8:00am – 3:30pm
  • Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm – 8:00pm

About the Role

Our client is seeking a professional, friendly, and reliable Receptionist to join their team on an ADHOC temporary basis. As the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and staff, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the main reception desk and provide a welcoming environment for all visitors.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally and efficiently.
  • Receive, record, and distribute deliveries appropriately.
  • Assist residents with enquiries and provide support and information as required.
  • Respond to visitor and staff queries, directing requests to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate reception records and logs.
  • Ensure the reception area remains organised, professional, and secure at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous reception, customer service, or administrative experience is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work effectively with residents, visitors, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Essential Criteria

  • Valid Enhanced DBS certificate.

  • Flexibility to work both morning and afternoon shifts as required.
