Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk Location: Kempston Pay Rate: £15 per hour Hours: 20–21 hours per week Contract: Temporary to Permanent About the Role We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client on a part-time basis. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, offering flexibility with 20–21 hours per week and a competitive hourly rate of £15. Key Responsibilities: Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently Matching, batching and coding invoices Reconciling supplier statements Preparing payment runs Resolving invoice queries with suppliers and internal departments Maintaining accurate financial records Assisting with month-end procedures where required Requirements: Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Good working knowledge of accounting software and Excel Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively If you are an experienced Purchase Ledger professional looking for flexible part-time hours with the potential to go permanent, we would love to hear from you.
