Are you an experienced HIAB Driver with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering excellent service? We’re working with a leading company in the construction support sector who are seeking a skilled Class 1 or Class 2 Hiab Driver to join their growing team.
You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods using a Hiab-equipped vehicle, ensuring all loads are securely handled and delivered to sites across the UK. Some overnight stays may be required.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a Hiab truck to transport materials safely and in compliance with road regulations.
- Load and unload goods using the lorry-mounted crane.
- Secure loads using straps, chains, and ratchets.
- Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to coordinate deliveries.
- Valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV licence
- ALLMI D1+E Hiab qualification
- Valid CSCS Labourer’s Card
- Proven experience operating a lorry loader and securing flatbed loads
- Forklift Counterbalance or Moffett licence (desirable)
- Experience in the merchant timber, plant, or non-mechanical equipment sectors (desirable)
