Salary: £28,129.92 per annum with shift allowance of £3,288.96
Hours: 4 on 4 off rotational days and nights, 6am - 6pm & 6pm - 6am
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Bedford, is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join their team as a Machine Operator on a permanent basis. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in their industry leading production facility. You will play a critical role in ensuring production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and adhere to Health and Safety standards.
- Set up and diagnose machinery to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Identify and troubleshoot process faults.
- Maintain product quality to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and pre-start HACCP checks.
- Keep work areas clean and organised.
- Meet daily production targets.
- Take on additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Reliable and target-driven.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in a process environment is a plus.
- Problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
- Physically fit, able to work across multiple floors and at heights.
