The Management Accountant is responsible for providing accurate, timely and insightful financial information to support effective decision-making across Polygon. This role plays a key role in financial control, performance reporting, budgeting and forecasting, helping the business to understand performance, manage costs and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow reporting and associated KPIs.
- Assist in month-end processes, ensuring journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet account reconciliations are completed in accordance with policies and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards (e.g. UK GAAP or IFRS).
- Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
- Maintain strong financial controls and processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations (VAT, corporation tax, CIS).
