Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Kempston
Pay Rate: £15 per hour
Hours: 20–21 hours per week
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client on a part-time basis. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, offering flexibility with 20–21 hours per week and a competitive hourly rate of £15.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Preparing payment runs
- Resolving invoice queries with suppliers and internal departments
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with month-end procedures where required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good working knowledge of accounting software and Excel
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
