About the Role: As Senior Registry Officer, you'll play a key role in delivering and coordinating essential student lifecycle services from enrolment and progression to exams, results processing and graduation. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Academic Services, you will act as a subject matter expert, providing day-to-day operational oversight, driving service improvements and supporting colleagues across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex processes including assessment cycles, exam board coordination, and graduation readiness
- Act as an escalation point for technical or non-routine Registry queries
- Enhance and document procedures, helping improve systems and reporting tools
- Support staff training, mentoring, and development
- Liaise with faculties, Student Services and other key departments to streamline workflows
- Contribute to the smooth delivery of major events such as Matriculation and Graduation
Responsibilities:
- Significant experience in a Registry or HE administration setting
- Expert knowledge of the student lifecycle, especially assessments and awards
- High proficiency in student records systems (preferably SITS) and Excel
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and support team development
- Experience delivering process improvements
- Familiarity with academic regulations and assessment procedures
- Strong data analysis or advanced Excel skills
