The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.

To support forklift operations during shifts and assist with packing duties when required, ensuring maximum efficiency and a high standard of customer service. This includes moving goods to the correct locations while maintaining Health & Safety standards, and ensuring all items are handled, stored, and secured in line with required procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow all packaging codes and formats accurately
  • Identify, diagnose, and report faults on packaging machinery
  • Work towards and achieve daily production targets
  • Maintain clean and hygienic working areas at all times
  • Remove completed pallets from production lines and load vehicles using a forklift when required
  • Adhere to all relevant procedures and policies
  • Complete required equipment checks
  • Maintain traceability using the scanning system
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures consistently
  • Label, wrap, and prepare completed pallets for dispatch
  • Support packing lines as required
  • Ensure all packed products are correctly formatted, labelled, and coded
  • Ensure packaging is secure and meets customer requirements
  • Report any Health & Safety concerns to the line manager promptly
  • Undertake additional duties as required to meet business needs

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid forklift licence (essential)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to build effective working relationships
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
  • Demonstrates respect and professionalism towards others
  • Committed to delivering a high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders
