A well-established global manufacturer and installer of large-scale industrial doors is seeking a Paint Shop Supervisor to join its team. The company designs and produces products ranging from fire station doors to aircraft hangar doors and large specialist structures used in high-spec environments.

The role is based at a modern 58,000 sq ft manufacturing and office facility in Biggleswade, which includes on-site parking.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
Friday: 08:00 - 15:30

Role Overview

We are looking for a Paint Shop Supervisor to oversee paint shop operations. Alongside supervisory responsibilities, you will occasionally take a hands-on role supporting activities such as industrial wet painting and powder coating. You will also ensure the safe use, maintenance, and compliance of air-assisted respiratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day paint shop operations
  • Support industrial wet painting and powder coating activities when required
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures, including respiratory equipment use
  • Carry out routine inspections and quality checks
  • Maintain high standards of surface preparation and finish quality
  • Support team coordination and workflow efficiency

Salary

Hourly rate dependent on experience
