We are looking for an experienced and reliable HIAB Driver (Class 1 or Class 2) to join a growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, loading, and unloading of materials using a lorry loader crane. Overtime is available, and occasional overnight stays may be required when completing installations across the UK.

Requirements
- A valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV licence
- ALLMI D1+E qualification
- CSCS Labourer Card
- Experience operating a HIAB / lorry loader crane
- Experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets, and chains
- Ability to operate a forklift counterbalance or Moffett (desirable)
- A strong understanding of health and safety procedures
- A professional and reliable approach to work
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a HIAB vehicle safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all road and site regulations
- Load and unload materials using the crane and ensure all loads are correctly secured
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with customers, site teams, and colleagues
- Assist with product installations at various UK locations when required
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
About You
You will be an enthusiastic and dependable individual with previous HIAB experience. You must have a strong understanding of safe load handling and securing procedures, with the ability to work independently and represent the company professionally. Experience within merchant timber, non-mechanical plant, mechanical plant, construction, civil engineering, or utility sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
