As the Portfolio Account Manager for this business, you will be:
- Managing and growing a portfolio of existing clients, including key accounts
- Identifying new opportunities and upselling packaging solutions
- Providing outstanding service, building trusted long-term relationships
- Pricing, proposing, and negotiating contracts and stock agreements
- Planning and forecasting to ensure smooth seasonal supply
- Taking full ownership of client accounts
- Attending virtual and occasional in-person meetings
- Occasional UK travel required (12 times/month); full UK driving licence essential
To be suitable for this role, you will have the following skills and experiences:
- Proven experience of account management or B2B client services, with a track record of growing existing accounts
- Experience within a packaging, printing or manufacturing setting is desirable but not essential
- Experience of using SPOCS or Shuttleworth is ideal
- Strong excel skills
- Strong commercial skills including quoting, pricing, and negotiating
- Confident communicator, comfortable with senior stakeholders and virtual client meetings
