Permanent position with a salary from £32,500 depending on leak detection experience, plus bonus and overtime (salary expectations can be discussed). A UK driving license is required.
Our client is a leading specialist in leak repair and detection, providing state-of-the-art technological services to customers across the UK, in both homes and commercial properties. They are looking to recruit 3 Leak Detection Engineers to join their UK-wide team. This role is based in the postcode NR (Norwich and surrounding areas) and may include driving into London.
As a Leak Detection Engineer, you will:
- Drive your company van to multiple sites per day in the local area and further afield, planning your own day in a timely manner to meet expectations.
- Carry out non-intrusive investigations to detect, find, excavate and fix leaks.
- Utilise the most appropriate and cost-effective methods to find all leaks.
- Provide written technical reports after each site visit.
- Carry out repairs as per company expectations.
- Repudiate claims on site.
To be suitable for the role of Engineer, you will need the following skills/experience:
- Customer service experience and ability to deal with customers face to face in a domestic environment.
- NVQ level 2 plumbing (minimum).
- Proven experience in plumbing and leak detection.
- Basic IT skills.
In return, you will receive a great base salary plus bonus, with the option to work as much overtime as you would like, and a company van (just bring your own tools).
