We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Forklift Driver to join our team in CV35. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively. It is to start ASAP and is ongoing.
This role is based in a production setting and will involve shift work:
- Week 1: 0600-1400 Monday to Thursday, 0600-1200 Friday
- Week 2: 1400-0100 Monday to Thursday
You will need your own transport due to location.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move around waste.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse.
- This role requires general duties so is NOT on the FLT all the time.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
- A current counterbalance FLT licence.
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
- Be able to follow direction and supervision.
- A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
