Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire
Salary: £13.52 per hour, Paid Weekly
Job Type: Full Time, Temp to Perm
Hours: Weekly Rotating Shifts: 6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm, Mon – Fri
Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with potential for permanent employment? Our client, a well-established business based in Gaydon, is seeking a reliable and skilled individual to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) safely and efficiently
- Load and unload vehicles and move goods around the warehouse
- Ensure goods are stored in the correct locations
- Conduct routine safety checks on forklift equipment
- Support general warehouse duties when required
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Follow all site health & safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
- Recent experience operating a counterbalance forklift (within the last 6–12 months)
- Good understanding of warehouse processes and stock handling
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Excellent attention to detail and awareness of safety
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term work
