We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Trade Counter Assistant to join a busy and friendly branch team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service to encourage repeat business and build strong customer relationships.
- Process customer orders, quotations, and enquiries accurately and efficiently.
- Use the SAP system for order processing, stock management, invoicing, back orders, forward orders, and cash handling.
- Ensure branch stock levels are maintained and products are readily available.
- Support accurate and timely customer deliveries and quotations.
- Assist with receiving and booking in stock, checking for discrepancies or damaged goods, and allocating stock correctly within the warehouse.
- Maintain high standards of warehouse organisation, trade counter presentation, cleanliness, and health safety.
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge and understanding of company procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a trade counter, builders' merchant, warehouse, customer service environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
