Our Bedford-based client is seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient movement of goods in a busy warehouse environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating counterbalance forklift to load and unload goods.
  • Moving stock safely around the warehouse and storage areas.
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties when required.
  • Performing daily checks and maintenance of the forklift.
  • Adhering to safety guidelines and ensuring a clean working environment.

Requirements:

  • Valid forklift licence from nationally accredited trainer.
  • Proven experience as a forklift driver.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work rotating day and night.
  • Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic.
