1st Choice Home Solutions is seeking a motivated, organized, and results-driven Project Manager to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, professionally, and to the highest quality standards. For 30 years, we have been a trusted name in exterior renovations across Southwestern Ontario. We are looking for a leader who can manage projects from post‑sale handoff through completion while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the installation phase of all assigned projects. This role ensures work is completed according to contract specifications, company standards, safety regulations, timelines, and budget expectations. The Project Manager works closely with the Production Manager, office team, installers, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth project execution and strong communication at every stage.
Key Responsibilities- Manage projects from contract handoff through final completion.
- Review job specifications, scope of work, and material requirements.
- Schedule and coordinate installation crews and subcontractors.
- Hire and onboard new subcontractors.
- Conduct pre‑install site visits and final re‑measures when required.
- Perform regular job site visits to ensure quality control and safety compliance.
- Provide leadership and direction to installers and subcontractors.
- Resolve on‑site challenges, customer concerns, and scheduling issues.
- Coordinate change orders between customers, office staff, and vendors.
- Complete post‑job inspections to verify workmanship, scope completion, and site cleanup.
- Ensure compliance with Working at Heights and all safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and communication logs.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, exterior renovations, or project management.
- Experience in exterior renovation products including windows and doors, metal roofing, siding, and eavestrough.
- Proven leadership and crew coordination experience.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working at Heights (WAH) certification (required or willingness to obtain).
- Valid G Driver's License with clean driving record.
- Experience with CRM systems and scheduling software is an asset.
