We're looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing and Proposition team, based in either Haywards Heath (West Sussex) or Salford Quays (Manchester). As part of our Telematics Pricing team, you'll work alongside experienced pricing and telematics specialists, using behavioural data, advanced analytics, and predictive modelling to shape pricing strategy and drive commercial performance. You'll apply your technical expertise and pricing insight to influence key business decisions, improve risk selection and portfolio performance, and help deliver better outcomes for our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued evolution of our telematics proposition and make a tangible impact on the business.
This role offers a predominantly home-based working pattern, with just one day per month in the office in either Salford Quays (Manchester) or Haywards Heath (West Sussex). We're also flexible; if you'd prefer to spend more time with the team, you're welcome to work from the office more frequently.
Core skills we're looking for to succeed in the role:
- Academic Background: Minimum 2:1 degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in a pricing role within the motor insurance industry, with exposure to telematics insurance.
- Data & Analytics Expertise: Hands-on experience working with telematics or other high-velocity, high-volume sensor-based datasets using Python and SQL within cloud-based analytics environments.
- Predictive Modelling Experience: Experience developing and deploying predictive models using Python and established data science methodologies would be advantageous.
- Technical Skills & Tools: Experience with Radar is highly desirable.
