Are you passionate about data, analytics and turning pricing strategy into action? We're looking for a Pricing Deployment Analyst to support the development and deployment of pricing algorithms, ensuring pricing changes are seamlessly implemented into live production environments. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of our pricing function, helping to deliver accurate, efficient and impactful pricing solutions through our Radar rating algorithms and rating tables.
This role offers a predominantly home-based working pattern, with just one day per month in the office in either Salford Quays (Manchester) or Haywards Heath (West Sussex). We’re also flexible; if you'd prefer to spend more time with the team, you're welcome to work from the office more frequently.
Core skills we’re looking for to succeed in the role:- Technical Pricing & Analytical Expertise: Technical Pricing and analytical experience.
- Technical Skills & Tools: Familiarity with programming languages and software such as SQL, SAS, Python and Databricks.
- Governance & Process Compliance: Ability to follow established governance frameworks, policies and processes.
- Stakeholder Management & Relationship Building: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- WTW Radar Software: Experience of Radar is desirable, although not essential.
- Education & Qualifications: Degree-qualified in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science or equivalent work experience.
- You’ll collaborate with the pricing teams to provide an innovative and effective delivery service for our Insurance Rating System.
- You’ll ensure governance framework is adhered to on all rating changes to ensure all changes are effectively deployed and prioritised.
- You’ll support Pricing Deployment Manager in carrying out analysis to make recommendations to enhance rating efficiency and long-term pricing delivery capabilities, encompassing both testing and deployment.
- You’ll play a key part of the Pricing Deployment team in building, maintaining, and monitoring production algorithms and documentation in Radar.
- You’ll carry out pre and post-live testing processes to ensure accuracy.
- You’ll participate in technical discussions to meet business needs and timelines while adhering to request requirements and governance.
- You’ll support the monitoring of pricing MI, analysing key metrics such as rate movements and investigating price changes that do not deliver the expected performance outcomes.
- You’ll build pricing proposals to support key stakeholders such as Products and Partnerships.
- Familiarity with programming languages and software such as SQL, SAS, Python or Databricks.
- Knowledge of WTW Radar software or similar and experience in building, developing, and testing algorithms an advantage but not essential.
- Experience in monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement of algorithms.
- Analytical mindset, inquisitive nature, and a high level of numeracy.
- A logical and strategic thinker.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adopt a logical approach to solving problems.
- Strong IT skills (including Excel and ideally programming skills).
