Our client, one of the fastest growing public safety and security solutions companies, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their billion dollar program working with a C4ISR aircraft program working out of the UK.
Reporting to the Program Manager, you will provide technical support to the aircraft program by monitoring the work performed by the subcontractor on design, manufacturing and testing of aircraft systems (e.g. avionic systems, communication systems, etc.). You must be knowledgeable in aircraft systems and provide solutions to the other teams in the project, as well as support mission systems installation in the aircraft.
Key Experience- Provide technical support to the aircraft program by monitoring the work performed by the subcontractor on design, manufacturing and testing of aircraft systems (e.g. avionic systems, communication systems, etc.)
- Be knowledgeable in aircraft systems and provide solutions to the other teams in the project
- Support mission systems installation in the aircraft
- Have field operational experience in the installation of electrical/avionics systems on an air platform
- Be familiar with aircraft electrical and avionics modifications, analyses, testing (e.g. co-site, EMI/EMC, etc.)
- Have interpersonal and communication skills and be fluent in English
- Over 5 years of direct experience in avionics and/or electrical engineering on aircraft
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering; advanced degree (master’s) is a plus
