At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
Technical authority and commercial judgement create the bridge between architecture and business outcomes. As a 1Password Field Chief Technology Officer (Field CTO), you’ll help the world’s largest organizations navigate that bridge while shaping the future of enterprise identity security.
The Field CTO is the most senior customer-facing technical advisor within the 1Password Solutions Engineering organization. You’ll influence enterprise technology leaders, accelerate adoption of the 1Password platform and help define how modern organizations secure every sign-in to every application from every device, including AI agents.
You’ll partner with executive buyers, enterprise architects, developers and security practitioners to solve some of the industry’s most complex identity and access challenges. You’ll engage in our most strategic customer opportunities, represent 1Password in executive briefings, customer advisory boards, industry events and executive forums, and serve as a trusted advisor to Product, Engineering and GTM leadership. You’ll focus your efforts where executive technical leadership can materially influence customer outcomes, while transforming those experiences into repeatable technical motions that scale across the broader Solutions Engineering organization.
Beyond customer engagement, you’ll help scale the technical capabilities of the entire Solutions Engineering organization. You’ll transform customer insights into repeatable playbooks, mentor senior Solutions Engineers, influence product direction and establish technical strategies that improve how we engage enterprise customers around the world.
How we’re using AI today: Across GTM, we’re transforming the way we work with AI. We expect every seller, CSM, and team member to become a power user, using it daily to work smarter and move faster.
