As a Solutions Engineer, Enterprise, you will work closely as a trusted partner to our Enterprise teams within Go-to-Market to help improve sales productivity and deal flow by providing technical expertise and be responsible for helping them to achieve their sales targets. You will collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Support resources, and interact with key customer technical decision-makers to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately and specifically address our Enterprise customer’s needs and use cases. This is a remote opportunity within the UK.

What we're looking for:

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and German.
  • 3+ years experience in customer-facing activities in a B2B environment.
  • 2+ years experience working directly with enterprise customers as a Solutions Engineer.
  • Ability to disseminate and popularize technical information for a general audience.
  • Great presentation and communication skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and quality.
  • Excitement when it comes to investigating, testing and exploring solutions for customers.
  • Exhibits a high degree of independence, leading projects confidently with minimal to no oversight.
  • Demonstrates exceptional adaptability, expertly managing several high-priority projects at once without compromising on quality.
  • Thrives both independently and within a dynamic team setting.
  • Personal experience with 1Password or another password manager is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with the acronyms SCIM, AD, CLI, SSO, and SaaS.
  • Experience working with SaaS tools and in the security industry is an asset.

What you can expect:

  • Be the main technical point of contact within 1Password’s Go-To-Market team.
  • Proactively scope the technical solution required to address Enterprise customer requirements.
  • Understand our competitors thoroughly for objection handling and talk track development.
  • Provide technical coaching and professional development to 1Password’s sales team.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Support teams on technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process.
  • Provide technical education to customers and staff when needed.
  • Prepare proposals and respond to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and vendor/risk assessments.
  • Occasional travel may be required for events.

After 1st month: Gaining an understanding of overall how 1Password's Go-to-Market team works, the tools we use, the processes, 1Password as a product and our security model.

At 3 months: Expected to be up & running solo in customer calls, experienced demo feedback training sessions, shadowed calls and had a reverse shadower on ones of your own.

At 6 months: Well-versed in customer calls, managing at least one tier 2 product launch related project and active in creating, updating and verifying cards in our internal knowledge base (Guru).
