Type: Full Time We are currently looking for a Operations Manager The Operations Manager position is a key position in the Company.

This is an ideal role for an individual with ambitions of running their own facility, and with the attention to detail to oversee all aspects of day-to-day health, safety, and compliance management on behalf of the Centre Manager.

The position provides the post holder with a genuinely rewarding experience and a springboard to a leisure management career The Opportunity To organise and manage the Duty Manager team, and other line management staff in the absence of the Centre Manager.

Take responsibility for health and safety and actively participate in the maintenance and improvement of the overall Company health and safety culture.

To manage, develop and coordinate staff resources effectively to meet the operational requirement of the centre.

To develop and promote an exciting, innovative leisure programme.

To assume shift management responsibility for the centre and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and customer care.

The Person Will be reliable and confident in making key decisions.

Will be able to demonstrate excellent planning and time management ability.

Will be able to proactively resolve day-to-day operational issues.

Will be able to proactively demonstrate commitment to a health and safety culture.

Will be able to communicate at different levels of the organisation, and deliver quality training.

Will be able to meet the demands of the role by working additional hours when required.

Essential qualifications include a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and Pool Plant Operators (PP0) certificate.

A NPLQ Tutor/Assessor, Level 2 Award in Swim Teaching and/or a related Health & Safety qualifications would also be advantageous. 1Life is a well established business that is continuously growing.
