A respected children’s residential care provider is looking for an experienced Team Leader to support the daily running of a therapeutic residential home for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Team Leader looking to progress within children’s residential care.
Location: Winkfield
Salary: £17.07 – £17.50 per hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate shifts within the children’s residential home
- Supervise and support Residential Support Workers
- Promote a safe, nurturing and child-centred environment
- Support children and young people with emotional, behavioural and trauma-related needs
- Maintain accurate care records, daily logs and incident reports
- Support care planning, risk assessments and behavioural support strategies
- Promote safeguarding and report concerns in line with procedures
- Liaise with social workers, therapists and education providers
