We are recruiting compassionate and reliable care assistants to support vulnerable individuals in a caring, respectful, and people‐centered environment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives while working flexible hours to suit their lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality personal care and support to service users
- Assisting with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, and mobility
- Supporting service users with meals, hydration, and medication (where trained)
- Promoting independence, dignity, and choice at all times
- Observing, recording, and reporting changes in service users' physical or emotional wellbeing
- Building positive, trusting relationships with service users and colleagues
- Following care plans, policies, and safeguarding procedures
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Up-to-date care certificates and mandatory training (or willingness to refresh/update)
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults
Working Hours
- Early shifts: 8:00am – 2:00pm
- Afternoon shifts: 2:00pm – 8:00pm
- Long days: 8:00am – 8:00pm
- Night shifts: 8:00pm – 8:00am
