We are recruiting a mobile maintenance & electrical engineer to carry out both electrical and general maintenance works across a portfolio of Aldi retail stores. This is a hands-on role requiring a practical, multi-skilled engineer who is equally comfortable with electrical repairs and building services maintenance.

You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, attending multiple sites across the Heathrow, M25, and South Coast areas, ensuring stores remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.

This role requires both maintenance and electrical work – it is not a split or specialist-only position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across multiple Aldi store locations
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems in a retail environment
  • Undertake general building maintenance tasks where required
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and company procedures
  • Complete job reports and documentation accurately
  • Liaise professionally with store management and facilities teams
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service
Essential Requirements:
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • ECS Gold Card
  • Proven experience in maintenance and electrical engineering, ideally within retail or commercial environments
  • Ability to work independently across a mobile patch
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
Desirable:
  • Experience working in large retail estates
  • Multi-skilled maintenance background
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical or factory maintenance
