Production operators needed to work within a busy recycling and production environment in Rowfant Industrial Estate, RH10. The job involves processing used airline headsets for safe recycling, reuse or packing as per client’s instruction. You are expected to work with diligence, follow procedures and maintain good quality standards throughout your shift.

Your duties will include:

  • Airline headphone damage or defect inspection
  • Safely removing batteries when needed
  • Disentangling headset leads and cables
  • Sorting items according to recycling instructions
  • Proper and secure packing of headsets
  • Following oral and written instructions
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy workstation
  • Quality and productivity goals for the day attained
  • All health & safety procedures followed
  • Supporting colleagues and working as part of the wider team

Requirements:

  • Willing to obtain or have a Basic DBS certificate
  • Be able to provide a complete five year reference history
  • Be punctual, reliable and dedicated to working scheduled shifts
  • Pay close attention to detail
  • Be able to follow instructions correctly
  • Proficient at working independently and within a team
  • Comfortable with repetitive work
  • Be willing to learn new processes and help out the team when needed

Due to the location and early start time, applicants must drive and have access to their own transport. Previous warehouse, production, recycling or packing experience would be an asset but the right attitude and willingness to learn is most important.
