We are seeking a friendly and organized Full-Time Receptionist to join our team as the welcoming face of 196 Bishopsgate. Located in the heart of London's financial district, 196 Bishopsgate offers fully serviced 4-star hotel apartments, opposite Liverpool Street train and underground station. 196 Bishopsgate offers a range of accommodation, from Studio to Executive Apartments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist our guests warmly and courteously.
  • Handle check-in and check-out smoothly, ensuring guests are welcomed.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and helpfully.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Support the Reception Manager and the team in daily operations.
  • Prepare necessary reports, such as credit checks and departure summaries.
  • Address general inquiries and provide detailed information about the hotel.
  • Promote our services and facilities enthusiastically, aiming to maximize revenue through up-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service, communication and support.
  • Show flexibility by working on a rotating shift pattern, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Our successful Receptionist will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • High standards of grooming and a positive work attitude.
  • Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficient in Opera system and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work as part of the team and on own initiative.
