1920 is looking for a freelance VFX Editor to keep our shots, edits and deliveries moving cleanly through the pipeline. Working in Nuke Studio and Hiero, you\'ll be the link between editorial, production and the 2D team: turning over new shots, keeping dailies and templates current, and making sure everything that goes to the client is right first time
Essential
-
Proven experience as a VFX Editor or VFX Assistant Editor in a facility environment
-
Strong working knowledge of Nuke Studio and Hiero, including conforms, retimes and timeline management
-
Solid understanding of the VFX pipeline: plates, elements, versioning, frame ranges and handles
-
A sharp eye for QC, catching dead frames, comp issues and version mismatches before they reach the client
-
Highly organised, with clear communication across production, editorial and the 2D team
-
Comfortable working to tight review and delivery deadlines
-
Experience with production tracking tools (e.g. ShotGrid / Flow Production Tracking or ftrack)
-
Experience preparing plates and packages for external vendors
-
Familiarity with colour pipelines (ACES, OCIO) and common delivery formats
-
An existing right to work in the UK, as we\'re unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role
