We are looking for a welcoming, energetic Restaurant Supervisor to help lead front-of-house service at La Sala Sheffield. You will support the management team, inspire colleagues and ensure guests receive warm, attentive and professional hospitality.
Your Mission
- Supervise daily restaurant service, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and attentive care.
- Coordinate front-of-house colleagues and allocate responsibilities before and during service.
- Lead by example in service standards, product knowledge and professional presentation.
- Support reservations, table allocation, guest requests and the smooth flow of service.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain clear communication.
- Help train, coach and motivate team members, including new starters.
- Follow cash handling, payment, opening and closing procedures as required.
- Support compliance with food hygiene, allergen awareness, licensing and health and safety procedures.
- Assist management with stock awareness, shift handovers and operational improvements.
About You
You take pride in high standards, enjoy working as part of a team and bring a positive, practical approach to every shift.
- Previous experience in a restaurant supervisory role or as a senior waiter ready to progress.
- Excellent guest-service skills and a confident, friendly communication style.
- Ability to organise a team and stay composed during busy services.
- Good understanding of food, beverages, allergens and restaurant operations.
- A hands‑on attitude, attention to detail and enthusiasm for hospitality.
