We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at La Sala Sheffield. You will take ownership of your section and help deliver consistently excellent dishes in a lively, guest-focused restaurant environment.
Your Mission
- Manage and organise your designated kitchen section during preparation and service.
- Prepare, cook and present dishes to agreed recipes, portion sizes and quality standards.
- Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and wider kitchen team to ensure smooth, timely service.
- Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, allergen management and safe food handling.
- Check ingredient quality, monitor stock rotation and minimise food waste.
- Keep your section clean, well stocked and ready for each service.
- Support junior colleagues with training, guidance and positive teamwork.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house colleagues on guest requirements and dietary needs.
About You
You take pride in high standards, enjoy working as part of a team and bring a positive, practical approach to every shift.
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to progress.
- Confident cooking skills, strong organisation and attention to presentation.
- Working knowledge of UK food safety, allergens and kitchen hygiene requirements.
- Ability to remain calm and focused during busy services.
- A reliable, collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for great food.
