A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and discreet Temporary Private Chef to support a lovely family of five based near Virginia Water from the last week of June until the end of August. The family is seeking a talented and flexible Chef to provide fresh, healthy, and beautifully prepared daily meals throughout the summer period.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of health-conscious cooking styles and be confident in preparing a wide variety of international cuisines, including Indian, Italian, Mediterranean, Japanese, and Chinese dishes. Experience preparing Halaal meals is essential, alongside knowledge of low-carb, plant-based, keto, gluten-free, and sugar-free cooking.

The role will involve preparing two fresh meals per day (lunch and dinner) as well as occasional desserts and healthy sweet options. The Chef may either cook on-site in the family home or prepare meals off-site for delivery or collection. Flexibility and adaptability are key qualities for this role.

In addition to meal preparation, the Chef will be responsible for sourcing and shopping for fresh, high-quality ingredients, ensuring meals are nutritious, varied, and tailored to the family's dietary preferences. The family is seeking someone professional, organised, discreet, and capable of working independently to a consistently high standard.

Working 5 days per week (Monday to Friday), usually from 10 am until 7 pm, this is an excellent opportunity for a polished and creative Chef seeking a rewarding temporary role within a warm and respectful private household environment.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

  • Preparing fresh daily lunch and dinner for a family of five
  • Creating varied and nutritious international menus
  • Preparing Halaal meals to an excellent standard
  • Catering to low-carb, plant-based, keto, gluten-free, and sugar-free dietary preferences
  • Preparing healthy desserts and alternative sweet options
  • Shopping for fresh, high-quality ingredients
  • Managing kitchen organisation and maintaining high hygiene standards
  • Cooking either onsite or offsite, depending on family requirements
  • Coordinating meal deliveries or collections where required
  • Always maintaining discretion and professionalism

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Previous experience working as a Private Chef within UHNW or private households
  • Strong experience preparing Halaal cuisine
  • Knowledge of specialist dietary requirements, including keto, gluten-free, low-carb, and plant-based cooking
  • Confident across a range of international cuisines, including Indian, Italian, Mediterranean, Japanese, and Chinese
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to cooking onsite, delivery, or collection arrangements
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Discreet, professional, and trustworthy
  • Excellent spoken English and communication skills
  • Right to live and work in the UK
