We have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Private PA and House Manager to support an exceptionally kind and down‑earth UHNW principal across her personal affairs, private household and growing property portfolio. This is a highly varied position that combines traditional private PA support with substantial house management, property oversight, project coordination and family support responsibilities.
Supporting a highly respected principal who has built and managed complex residential properties, the successful candidate will become a trusted right‑hand support, ensuring that her home, family affairs and personal life operate seamlessly at all times. In addition to property and household management responsibilities, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to the principal and wider family, overseeing a diverse range of administrative, lifestyle, project management and organisational matters.

The role is based on a typical Monday to Friday schedule of 8:30am to 5:30pm, although flexibility is required to accommodate household, property and family needs as they arise. Once established in the role, there will be scope for occasional remote working where appropriate.
Responsibilities- Acting as the principal's trusted right‑hand support across all personal, household, family and property matters.
- Overseeing the day‑to‑day management of a substantial private residence in St John's Wood and additional UK and international properties.
- Supporting the principal and her family with personal administration, lifestyle management, diary management, correspondence, personal, medical and social appointments, travel and ad hoc projects.
- Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, refurbishments and ongoing property improvement projects.
- Coordinating family travel, events, celebrations and entertaining.
- Liaising with and managing contractors, architects, designers, suppliers and service providers, ensuring works are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Attending project meetings, tracking actions, following up outstanding matters and ensuring projects remain on schedule.
- Acting as the principal's representative at all times and corresponding on her behalf.
- Monitoring and coordinating support for smart home and building management systems, including Lutron, Savant and similar technologies.
- Managing household administration, invoices, service contracts, utilities and property‑related documentation.
- Maintaining household records, inventories, asset registers, storage systems and operational procedures across multiple properties.
- Coordinating household organisation projects, including the wardrobe management, storage, sale, donation and cataloguing of personal belongings and household items.
- Visiting additional UK and international properties as required to oversee operations, maintenance, taking inventory and checking ongoing projects.
- Coordinating pet care, appointments and transportation as required.
- Utilising AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini to support administration, research and project coordination.
- Supporting the smooth running of the household with complete discretion, professionalism and confidentiality.
- At least 10 years of previous experience as a Private PA, House Manager or Family Assistant supporting UHNW principals.
- Proven experience managing complex private residences, multiple properties or large‑scale household operations.
- Strong problem‑solving skills combined with excellent judgement and common sense.
- Experience supporting multiple family members within a UHNW household environment.
- Strong understanding of household management, property administration, contractor coordination and project management.
- Demonstrable longevity in previous positions, ideally supporting the same principal or family for several years.
- Exceptional organisational skills with experience managing inventories, asset registers and complex projects.
- A highly proactive, self‑sufficient approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Confident stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with contractors, suppliers, advisers and household staff.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the principal at all times.
- Comfortable managing changing priorities within a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
- Strong administrative and IT skills, including Microsoft Office and AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
- Familiarity with smart home technology, building management systems, Lutron, Savant or similar platforms would be advantageous.
- Experience working alongside architects, interior designers, project managers or construction professionals is desirable.
- Experience planning private events, family celebrations or entertaining.
- French language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
- Experience supporting social media, content creation schedules or influencer‑related activities would be beneficial.
- Pet‑friendly and comfortable working within a household environment with pets.
- Full, clean UK driving licence strongly preferred.
- DBS check (or willing to have one taken) and excellent, verifiable references required.
