We are delighted to be recruiting for a dynamic and highly organised Personal Assistant to support a wonderful high-net-worth female principal and her children, based at their home in Mayfair. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and proactive candidate to play an integral role in a well-run private household, with a strong focus on diary management, family travel planning, and overseeing the children’s after-school schedules and extracurricular activities.
While this is first and foremost a Personal Assistant role, there are light nannying responsibilities required, primarily coordinating children’s timetables and liaising with and overseeing tutors and extracurricular providers. The ideal candidate will be highly dependable, discreet, and personable, with the flexibility to work partially remotely.
This role requires availability at the property between 3pm and 7pm on weekdays, with the remainder of the PA duties offering flexibility and remote working options. No weekend work is expected, except on rare occasions when the family hosts events or in cases of urgent matters requiring immediate attention.
The role will also require significant travel planning for the family, particularly during school holidays. Experience in arranging luxury end-to-end travel, including VIP airport services, is essential.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Complex diary management, ensuring accurate scheduling with relevant details included (times, contacts, locations)
- Full coordination of family holidays, researched and booked 8+ weeks in advance where possible
- Overseeing the children’s after-school tutoring sessions to ensure they are effective, and monitoring their progression
- Management of all travel arrangements, including flights, transfers, accommodations and activity planning, plus door-to-door transfer including VIP meet-and-greet services
- Booking of restaurants, theatre shows, taxis, and weekend activities for the principal and family
- Organisation of medical appointments and obtaining relevant insurance authorisations for all family members
- Oversight of the children’s after-school routines, creating timetables, scheduling classes, and coordinating tutor availability around the family’s travel plans
- Booking and managing extracurricular activities and holiday events for the children
- Managing household supplies and ordering essentials for both the principal and the children
- Event planning and coordination, including dinner parties, on-site catering, charity events, and gift procurement
- Ensuring consistent domestic staffing, liaising with housekeepers and drivers, and arranging reliable cover when needed
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar private PA or family support role
- Comfortable working in a home environment and coordinating around school-aged children
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Prior experience with luxury family travel logistics is mandatory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to liaise confidently and professionally
- A proactive, calm, and resourceful approach, comfortable working independently
- A warm and trustworthy personality, with a high degree of discretion
- Enhanced DBS check in hand
- London-based with the right to work in the UK
- Excellent verifiable references
