We have an incredible opportunity for a highly organised and proactive Private Personal Assistant to handle a variety of key responsibilities whilst travelling alongside an ultra-high-net-worth individual as he explores the world. The role involves travel planning and coordination, including organising flights, yachts, accommodation, transportation, and itineraries for trips to a variety of global destinations.

On-the-ground support is crucial; this position requires travelling alongside the principal, assisting with last-minute changes, pre-empting and addressing any issues that arise, and running errands to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience. You will effectively communicate with private jet crews, yacht crews and top luxury hotels to ensure all preferences and requirements are met before travel. The role includes diary management, where you will maintain the principal’s private calendar, coordinate travel and events, as well as correspondence management. You will also oversee the coordination of international events attended by the principal to ensure all details are meticulously managed. In addition, you will be tasked with assisting with all personal matters, requiring the highest degree of discretion and loyalty at all times.

The successful candidate will work very closely with a second Private Personal Assistant, complementing each other’s strengths and covering each other’s downtime to ensure the principal has constant, seamless support. You will therefore need to be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and have impeccable communication skills.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to gain valuable experience by supporting a ultra-high-net-worth individual while traveling globally with him. The role requires a high level of flexibility, as you will need to be on-call throughout the trip and may need to travel internationally on very short notice. The position offers a tax-free salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and covers all travel expenses. There will be some downtime between trips or when the principal stays in one country for an extended period.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE

  • Organise travel and accommodation, inclusive of private flights, hotels, drivers, charters and visa applications
  • Comprehensive and efficient diary management
  • Itinerary planning, including suggesting and booking excursions and activities in line with the principal’s interests
  • Around-the-clock, on-call support
  • Remaining on standby to problem-solve during trips
  • International travel alongside the principal
  • Ensure the principal’s preferences have been communicated in advance
  • Coordination and attendance of any international events that the principal attends
  • Ad-hoc errand running
  • Travelling in advance of the principal or conducting reconnaissance duties

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Highest level of flexibility and willingness to be on call whilst travelling
  • Prior experience as a Private Personal Assistant, Concierge, or similar within a UHNW or luxury environment, such as a private household, family office, super yachts, or luxury hotels
  • A team player who values collaboration and works well with others
  • Highly capable and adaptable with strong problem-solving abilities
  • A high-mobility passport that allows for the most visa-free entry is essential
  • Well-travelled and adaptable to evolving environments and cultures
